Use this guide when the organization you want to connect uses Tripletex and should synchronize with Kogniflow through API.
Before you start
Confirm the following:
- The organization will use API synchronization
- The organization you are connecting uses Tripletex
- The Integrations add-on is enabled in Tripletex
- You have an employee token / API key that can be shared with Kogniflow
Setup flow
1. Open the organization setup in Kogniflow
Go to the organization you want to connect and choose API as the synchronization method.
2. Select Tripletex as the provider
When Kogniflow asks for the accounting provider, choose Tripletex.
3. Add the Tripletex access details
Complete the Tripletex setup with the details Kogniflow needs. In practice, that usually means using an employee token or API key that has been created and shared for the correct Tripletex user.
4. Select the company to synchronize
Once the employee token has been added, choose which company in Tripletex should be synchronized with Kogniflow.
5. Wait for the first data synchronization
Once the company has been selected, the data synchronization starts automatically. This can take a little while depending on how many years of data and how many transactions need to be imported.
When the synchronization is complete, you can continue with control work, follow-up, and analysis in Kogniflow.
Official provider guidance
Use Tripletex help articles when you need more detailed guidance on API setup and employee tokens:
- Enable the Integrations add-on
- Create an employee token
- Find the employee token
- Share the employee token with a third party
If Tripletex is not the right path
If the organization should not be connected through API, use Data Synchronization to review the SAF-T alternative.
Troubleshooting
If the Tripletex access does not work as expected
If you cannot complete the setup, first verify that Integrations is enabled in Tripletex, that the correct employee token has been created, and that the token has been shared with Kogniflow for the correct user and company.
Use the help links above to verify activation, token creation, token location, and token sharing.
